In the old testament, God instructed, that the Levi generation (priests) and God's chosen Holy ones of Israel, to be and keep themselves Holy, and part of being Holy, was not consuming unclean meats (not only PORK), for further reference, see, Leviticus Chap. 11 or Deuteronomy Chap. 15.
These rules/laws were given to the Jews.

When Peter had a vision/dream of an abundance of animals being place before him, and told to kill, and eat, he didn't want to, because there were clean and unclean meats set before him. He soon got the understanding that it was a representation of Salvation being offered to, not only the Jews, but also to the Gentiles, Salvation is for everyone!

In terms of eating meat, Jesus said, " it's not what goes into a man that defiles him, but what comes out." as meat goes into the drought etc.
I don't eat pork, but I certainly wouldn't stop anyone who wanted to eat it, from eating it.

Paul simply had a better understanding of a lot of things.
It's just that in today's society, a lot of people/ministers misinterpret some of Paul's words.

The Bible is Holy Spirit inspired, and Paul was one of the most dedicated disciples of Jesus Christ. If you read the Bible and seriously think about it, you can see that it couldnt have come from mortal man.

As to the pork question, God made it clean when he gave Peter a vision. Acts 10:9-16

9About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air. 13Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat."
14"Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean."

15The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean."

16This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.

It was forbidden for the Jews in the Old Testament to eat pork, but it has been made clean by God for us to eat.

Yes sinners may repent and God accepts their repent, but will never ever send them as leaders to people. Paul is not true.
Just as Judas was indwelled by Satan to betray Jesus, Paul was indwelled by Satan to destroy Christianity! Paul taught ANOTHER Gospel! Why else did Constantine and the Pagan leaders take out the books of the disciples and put in Paul's! To lead YOU away from the truth and into a FALSE Gospel!
Jefferson once wrote that, “Paul was the first corrupter of the teachings of Jesus.”

I would say no, fist because it was Peter who had the dream and told not to make unclean what God has made clean.

But next Paul was a "jews jew" he was a master of the law and the rules, Jewish rites and customs would have been very important to him as it was most of the early church.

God sent His Holy Spirit to call Saul/Paul into His service, and Gods Holy Spirit taught Paul truth, as well as guided him in teaching truth.

This I believe; http://homelessheart.com/testimony.htm

Nope, every time I eat pork I know it's a good thing and God looked at creation and said it's good, so it's good.
