I would have better healthcare, better welfare, not see as many people living in the streets because some illegal took hteir job for less money and not worry about reading everything en espanol unless I was going to a hispanic themed restaurant.

Yes to all. I have never paid to have my yard done. I have worked in the peach fields, and in the construction industry. No I won't go work in the hot sun picking grapes, unless they are willing to pay me what I think the job is worth. Don't have kids, so the baby sitter question does not apply. If I did have kids, I am sure I could have one of my younger cousins, or family friends baby sit.
Your question is based on the assumption that Americans are all lazy, and it is quite a blanketing statement. As you can see it does not apply to ALL Americans. Mexicans ARE a part of America, but we don't want, or need the illegal aliens, period. End of story.

People who want to live, work, raise a family in the US are fine so long as they want to be part of this country. They should want to be Americans. Learn the language. Write to Washington to stop all the Spanish signs. Talk to your friends in English, even if you're struggling with the language.
Remember Mexico let you down. You couldn't make it there. Apply for citizenship papers, Speak the language well, Talk positive about America. Be a real American. Forget Mexico.
Please don't forget that back in the seventeen hundreds Mexico was more developed than America. What happened ?It should have more factories, better farms, everything better than here. What happened ? If we were able to do it here, why couldn't Mexico do at least as much ? What happened ?

First of all, out of all the taco bells I've been to i haven't seen one Mexican working there, i know more blacks (African Americans) that work in fields than Mexicans, I raise my own children, my hubby and I do our own yard work, I myself get our grapes off of my grandfathers grape vine, and its not the legal immigrants i have a problem with, its the illegal immigrants i have a problem with. Why should the citizens of the USA have to learn 2 languages just because some people are too stupid to come to OUR country legally and learn OUR language? Why should we pay higher taxes for people who aren't citizens to live hear? Why should we get poor health care because of those who don't live hear legally? Nor tell me how ILLEGAL Mexican immigrants are apart of America?

That is all fine and dandy, but I think the point that is trying to be made is that the MEXICANS need to come into our country the LEGAL way and not sneak over here and then get on welfare and medicaid and live 50 to a trailer. My step father is from Germany and do you think he got to sneak into this country? NO! He has to pay thousands of dollars on a yearly basis to be here. He is NOT a US citizen, yet he works, he pays to stay here, he is not on food stamps, and he is not popping out kids left and right. So these Mexicans are more of a drain on our economy then a benefit. Believe me if others are willing to learn the language, and pay to stay in our country then why should it be any different for THEM? Because they are poor? Boo hoo, so is a majority of Americana's, but we are portrayed as having all of the wealth of the land. Give me a damn break. Way to go BUSH you DOUCHE!

There are several versions of this today... let's just say
1. We are only discussing illegal aliens, not specifically 'Mexicans',
2. We did it before, we do it in other states, if we can't do it we will pick the people we want to come do it through a legal process. Coming illegally is not a recommendation.

I don't want to get rid of Mexicans that are born or raised here, they are citizens of this country their Americans, It's just illegal immigration I want stopped, I want our borders secured, I want people screened before they are let in, just like they use to do. besides Mexicans, their are 800 thousand other illegal immigrants that sneak into this country every year, illegal immigrants are not a part of America they are breaking the law and should be deported. if we got rid of all the illegals we will do just fine. I am not talking about Mexican-American citizens.

I wouldn't be able get my enchiladdas and burittos...haha just kidding. I love mexican food thou.
I don't have a mexican maid or mexican babysitter etc. I think if they made it in this country, there must be a reason why they're here. I do know they're hard working people and I don't have a problem with them.

I'd go to Mexico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I guess I'd live with my suegra. Not a problem :-)But I see your point.Americans take advantage of hispanic ppl.Oh,yeah, the same ol "illegals suck" bit,but most would be severly understaffed and our country would falter. It's true, without our hispanic population, America wouldn't have the fields picked, buildings built,or grass cut.HA,then I'd LOVE to see a few ppl on here cutting grass and picking cotton,or maybe digging in sewer ditches! The works gotta get done, right?
