you have to buy a new one. Check what type of slot you have (PCI, AGP or PCIe will be your options) and then go to the store and buy a video card with that slot and that meats your requirements.

Be sure to check system requirements for the video card itsself. If your system can't handle it, then you would be waisting your money.

Consult your local computer shop if you aren't sure you can do it on your own.

Good luck!

You can't. Now if we are talking about a laptop there is nothing you can do. If we are talking about a desktop, you can upgrade the video card via the PCIe slot or AGP slot. This will not be possible on some low end Dell systems as they lack even an AGP slot. If you have a PCIe slot I recommend getting either the nVidia 7600GS or 7600GT. The problem is that a lot of the newer cards are not being released for AGP slots. ATi does have the X1600Pro available for AGP slots so you might want to go that route. If not, you can also check out the 6600 series from nVidia, I believe they are still available for AGP slots as well, at least the last time I checked they were.
