I first believed in the trinity because it was taught in our church. Then as I began to have questions about the whole concept which was confusing, I listened more closely and looked up the scriptures when it was taught in church. One of the ways that I have heard it described that makes sense, is that the trinity is like water: it can be ice, it can be liquid, it can be steam... different facets, same thing. My favorite analogy is that it is like an egg: one part is the shell, one part is the yoke, one part is the white all three are parts of the same thing. Doesn't sound like ultra spiritual, but to wrap my head around it in the beginning it helped.

A good question...Even for a believer such as myself, the concept of the Holy Trinity is difficult at best. Our human minds have a difficult time trying to fathom the concept of 3 seperate and unique entities all being of 1 God. It calls for a leap of faith and a belief in the teachings of Jesus to even begin to accept it. Through the power of prayer for wisdom and understanding, I have been able to make that leap of faith and feel the Trinity manifested in my life, but as a human I may never understand fully the complexity of the Trinity, it is something your own faith journey has reveal to you.

I don't believe in Trinity, I've studied it from every aspect, talked with a lot of people, but the more I try to understand it ,the more I feel that I'm going nuts.

I do because I've felt the Holy Spirit. I know it exists. Jesus died on the cross for my sins, but he only did it because it was God's will. Jesus was human. His Father wasn't. The Holy Spirit fills the hearts of those who believe. I believe in the trinity because it makes sense to me.

1. Because we are told to baptize in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. If these are not God, then does not baptizing this way count as idolatry?
2. "Who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God something to be grasped." (Phil 2:6) Since Jesus has the role of obedience in the trinity, this affirms both aspects of it.
3. "In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God." (John 1:1-2)
4. "My Lord and My God," Thomas exclaims to Jesus in John. Jesus accepts this worship.

I believe in the Holy trinity.
I believe God the FATHER is Spirit, I believe that because I believe He is the SUPREME BEING, OMNIPOTENT, OMNIPRESENT, and SOVEREIGN...
1.He can do all things
2.All things are possible with God
and
3.See 1.
Oh yeah the HOLY SPIRIT is the FATHERS love and PRESENCE which lives and resides in our hearts daily.
Here is a perfect example of how ONE can be THREE, or VISE VERSA...
take WATER...it is a liquid, a solid and a gas...
If you take a bunch of icecubes...SOLID and heat them in a pan they melt to become water, LIQUID and if you continue heating them they will become steam GAS, A perfect example as given to me by a CHRISTIAN/JEW.

All jesus said is to worship the God who sent him.
and the first of all commandment is "you shall not take other gods before Me"
so for God to put this as the first of all commandments then definatly no joke. and God means business.
and Jesus used to worship His God. and on the cross (as the Bible claimed) he screamed and said "My God! My God! why haven't you forsaken me"
