False negatives are very common. I had 7 false negatives. I took 1 a week until it came out positive. It wont come out positive until you have enough of the horomone built up. Now it's RARE to get a false positive so if it says positive even a little bit then believe it!Go to the doctor and have him do a blood test or a pelvic exam. Good luck!

It is possible that you are, but just that your pregnancy hormone (hcg) levels are too low for the HPT to have detected, or you may have taken the test too early (before your hormones kicked in). Also, it the results depend on the sensitivity of the brand of HPT you used or if you had the test done at a lab - the amounts of hCG detectable by HPT and lab urine pregnancy test vary. I read somewhere that the most sensitive test measures about 25 mIU/ml of hCG in the urine. While this information is not printed on the box, you can always call the toll-free advice line on the back of the box, or look at some of the lists that have been compiled.

Best advice: take the test again, or see a doctor, since if you are indeed pregnant, the low hcg levels may put your pregnancy at risk. Hope it works out for you.

It's more common to get a false positive from a HPT, but if you are having those symptoms you definitely could be.

You might want to try another HPT or just go ahead and have the blood test.

Sounds like you could be pregnant. Get a blood test from your doctor to be sure. Pregnancy tests test the amt of the pregnancy hormone in your urine. Sometimes the hormone takes longer to show up in some pregnancies. I took 5 tests, before one came back positive. God Bless

Get a blood test done. With my middle I took 6 HPT's all said negative, and another at my docs that said negative before I finally got a positve at 9 weeks pregnant.

Absolutely! My friend had her period for six out of the nine months of her pregnancy and because of this she never expected herself to be pregnant until one day she felt herself getting a little bigger and took a pregnancy test. Some women's bodies work in mysterious ways! Go to a doctor and make 100% certain.

Yes you could be. Make an appointment to see an OB right away. If you can't into one, you can see a Family or General Practioner for a pelvic exam. You can also request a blood test for pregnancy. A vaginal exam is accurate too.

There can be a possibility. It would be best for you to talk to your doctor. My best friend took 3 pregnancies tests and they all came up negative. Right now she is 8 weeks pregnant. I wish you all the luck!!

The body works in mysterious ways. If your convinced that your prego then your body will act as if it is. I would most defiantly go to the Dr. cause there is a chance that you could be prego in your tubes and the hpt not pick it up and that is very dangerous. So seek medical attention sooner than later.

Your question suggests that you already know the answer. Get checked by your doctor. Forget the results of the test for now.
