Apart form the lack of technology to bring you back from the frozen state the cell damage from freezing (they burst!) makes sure that you stay dead.

BTW Woody Allen's the sleeper is an excellent comedy on this subject.

If you are serious about cryogenic freezing spend springtime in Scotland :-)

No way! And miss out on whatever life's gonna throw my way from now 'til then? I don't think so. When I'm melted, it'll be just like starting all over as a baby trying to learn all the new ways of the world....

no.... when I go... I want to goooooo .. I never had a goal to become a popsicle..lol....no point hanging around in the hopes of some medical miracle... as far as medicine has come and as far as it will eventually go... its still unlikely that they will be bringing you back after hundreds of years... and if you have any religious or spiritual belief... you would believe that the spirit has already left the body and there is nothing left but the shell anyway....

NO, I think it is appropriate to check out when my time comes. If I'm still reasonable healthy, maybe I would like to reach 100. When it isn't fun to be around anymore, with no hope for improvement its time to go. I'm sort of looking forward to a nice long rest at some point.
