i need a way to disable a program called NetNanny, it keeps blocking this kick a** gaming site that has every internet game possible to play, i have a sony comp,

Note: i cant do it w/ force quitting, the Wnldr (however its spelled)(unless you can direct me to the .exe file, than i can force quit it) thing, w/out downloading some program full of viruses, or else just a way to get around that site using some other site or trick. Thanks

Sounds like your parents are doing a good job....Hurray for them!!

Gaming site...Porn Site...??? Remember that alot of the "Questionalble" Gaming sites have banner ads which would hit NetNanny. If you are really interested in Gaming Sites you should be able to find anything you need at IGN.com which I'm sure will not be blocked by NetNanny.

ok ok! you need to kick that program's (your private area)... anyway use this tricks-

go to msconfig and disable it from automatic being loaded at start up... also press ctrl+alt+del Key and go to process and end task that NetNanny if it's there!
and try checking if that program is running in tray (where windows Clock is displayed) and Exit it!

you can quicky hit Ctrl,Alt,Delete, bring up your programs running and look for the name of the program you wish to close. might work on net nanny, not sure

If you are SUPPOSED to be gaming you should just talk to the person in charge of the installation.
