Easy. Get another one!

Why is he an ex, start there. And remember this, i'm 52 and i have had more than one fairly committed relationship, and there isn't one that turned out to really be deserving of any time love or effort spent on them. Too many women can say the same thing.
So don't trip potato chip, just get another dip.

For most people it takes alot of time. Just know that sitting around eating ice cream crying or moaning does not make this time shorter.
The most effective way is to go get laid.
But I personally suggest going out and having fun with friends. Dress up nice, flirt like crazy. When other guys are hitting on you and asking you out, it'll remind you there's plenty of fish in the sea and definately speed up the process.

Do not contact with them AT ALL! Don't talk to anyone in their family or any of their close friends. Don't go by their house or anywhere you think he might be. This will probably be very hard at first but I believe it is the only way. If you do see him in public try and ignore him. Then after a while get a new boyfriend even if you don't think you are ready. Believe me it will help.

Understand that he obviously didn't deserve you and take some time to think about what a great girlfriend you were or could be.

Then spend some time in public places simply enjoying life and the people around you. If you have a best friend, take her with you and enjoy being single!

You sound young, so not to worry...there will be new boys, bad boys, and good boys...

Get a new one, but first, take some time to think what annoyed you from your ex, so you don´t make the same mistake.
