Don't you think that people would have problems, fought wars and been evil before God came and showed his existence. What made that specific time so significant?

Sorry that is not a fact. Its debatable that man has been here for millions of years. Jesus was with god when the world was formed, God said let us make man in our own image. Because of the fall of Adam people needed a redeemer, so God sent His Son, Jesus to come to earth to make the supreme sacrifice at Calvary. Before Jesus ,God spoke to holy men of God, prophets and they gave the message to the common man. God has always been and Jesus is a part of God along with the Holy Spirit.

Love your type of questions !
I can see why geologists find it difficult to believe in the bible.
I believe Adam & Eve were the first people created in the image of God , being spiritually thinking people and not just physical thinkers as all before them.
Pse read 1 Kor 2 verses 7 to 16 if you like.
God has always existed, but is not in the minds of all mankind.
Luke 17 v 21 .
Whether we know God or not, there will always be wars and strife, because of our nature.
Man became the most intelligent beings by evolution, in the beginning man could not comprehend God .The earth (mind of man ) was nul void of Godliness before .
Just some thoughts...Regards.

Human civilization in the Euphradides valley dates back about 8,000 years, though there had been religious practices since the earliest hunter/gathers. I suppose a reason that Christ came in the time that he did was prehapse because the pagan Romans had taken the quote un-quote "holy land". Of course relatively speaking the Romans were good people. Forceful at times, but very intellegent. Another reason could be that the Romans had a death grip on the Jewish community, without Christ monotheism might have died off. Who knows?

Sorry, there is no evidence in nature to support that man has been here for more than a million years. There is no archeological evidence of cities or habits which have endured for that time period. However, it is a proven fact that culutures build on top of the ruins of other cultures. If man has been around for that long, there would sure be some evidence through the digging up of ruins.

God was with man in the Old Testament (before Jesus). Jesus came to the earth, as God in the Flesh for the specific purpose of dying on the cross for our sins, so that we might have forgiveness for our sins through his sacrifice.

I don't believe that we have been here for millions of years! They keep trying to prove evolution...yet there is no hard proof of evolution! And that is the only fact that backs evolution. All of life is a testimoney to the greatness of God! God came when all was fulfilled in the Bible so that he could be proven correct, true, and incorruptible!

But, don't take my word for it!!!...I highly encourage you to read this book:

Galatians 4.4 talks about the "fullness of time". Jesus showed up on the world scene just at the time when western civilization was poised to expand. there was a common market language (Koine Greek - inwhich the New Testament was written) to enable wode communication of his message.

The roman empire was in relative peace, trade routes were opening to the larger world, religions and races were intermingling more and more. I could go on. Suffice it to say that Jesus appeared at a time that enabled the gospel to spread more rapidly and widely than at any previous time.

Of course, had jesus appeared today it would be even easier to broadcast his message.

I have no way of knowing why that particular date was the correct one. I could speculate, maybe. I think He always showed Himself to us, as much as people could grasp it, even in the days of paganism or even before that. People first had to know how to read and write and be civilized, before He could teach us very much more about Himself. The limitation is not in Him, but in us. Very soon after writing was invented, He selected Abraham (who was a Sumerian), and made of him a chosen people (the Jews) through which to reveal Himself to the world. It took a long while for Him to teach the Jews to have the proper attitude toward Him, to desire Him for Himself and not for what He could give them. He had to hammer it into their heads for centuries before they finally understood, and it wouldn't have been proper for Jesus to come until that work was done. That's my thought, anyway. Whatever His reasons were, they were good ones.

Evolution is fact. Every living thing has a "parent". That right there, is evolution. Homo-sapiens have not been here for millions of years. Homo-erectus lived approx. one million years ago and evolved into homo sapien, or "Man".

Also, there have been over 200 fossils of homo erectus found to date.

That is God's business, not ours. I'm sure that you will find out some day--though you may not be able to tell anyone else--because you will be no longer on this earth.
