One reason is you are not rehydrating your system with enough water. Another thing is your muscles use calcium and you are not replenishing that as fast as you are burning it !
Solution -
Your body weight divided by 2 and then convert that # to ounces. This is how much water you should drink normally in a day !
Take Chelated Calcium as the amount of actual calcium your body absorbs from this is the higher than if you drink milk.
Your body (if you do nothing but lay in bed for 24 hours) will burn 900mg of calcium ! You can take up to 6000mg of the chelated calcium a day.
If I do a huge amount of work or excercise then I up mine to 3 tabs in the am and 3 in the pm but normal is 2 am and 2 pm.

You're using muscles that you haven't used in a while. When I'm done with going for a run I take a bath in Epson Salt. It works well with sore aching muscles.

The same thing happens to me in gymnastics..your muscles just aren't ready to work as hard. But as you keep doing it all the time, your muscles will keep getting stronger, and eventually your muscles won't ache the next day.

it's because of microscopic tears in the muscles. my friend that is a personal trainer told me to not work out every day, you are supposed to work out at least 3 days a week to give your body time to heal and to adjust to your workout

does it ache bad...anyway, because you have injured your muscles, basically tore them. they will heal and be bigger, that is the idea. so as they say, no pain no gain. just try not to tear them too bad or your days of working out will be over.

Because your muscles are not used to working out. Just keep at it and they'll get used to it. As long as it's just a little "sore" and not "excrutiating pain," you should be fine.
