We realize that the wicked people only have what they get here on earth because they are not going to go somewhere better, this is it, this is their life here so they will do whatever they have to do get all their material toys to make them happy this lifetime. They don't look to the bigger picture, they live in the here and now. Dont think that they wont get whats coming to them in the end, God will judge every last one of us. I would count my blessings everyone of them, are you healthy today? Do you have a job or are you having your needs met until you can find one? Do you have people who genuinely love and care for you? If you love God you are supposed to store your treasures in heaven, not here on earth. It will always seem that the wicked will prosper here, that's just the way it is, but when you know that there is more to life then just our time here on earth it tends to make you have a whole new outlook on things. I have never been to a funeral of any man who has had a Uhaul with all the worldy posessions attached to his hearse. Something to think about!

Because Satan has a sense of humor. No one ever said life in this system would be fair! Unfortunately, bad things happen to good people, to borrow a popular phrase. The Bible says that "Jehovah makes his sun rise upon wicked people and good and makes it rain upon righteous and unrighteous, for if you are loving those loving you, what reward do you have? Are not also the tax collectors doing the same thing? And if you greet your brothers only, what extraordinary thing are you doing? Are not also the people of the nations doing the same thing? " (Matthew 5:45-47) It may not seem fair to us as humans, but God has the ultimate judgement and is impartial in his wisdom! He will make it all OK in the end...we just have to be sure that we do what we need to do to be there when Jehovah DOES make everything alright.

I have often wondered the very same thing. Then God revealed to me that what these people have in the world is all that they have. Think about it. The unsaved are going to be in Hell for eternity. The devil wants it that way.

For you to claim that Gods people have nothing is not true. We are BLESSED. I have everything I need. If i died right now without a penny to my name and a friend nowhere to be found, I have my Jesus and I will be with Him forever!!!!!!!

So let them ( the wicked) have what they have. They are doomed. Its is the only pleasures they will ever have unless they get real and know Jesus. Don't be jealous of the wicked.

But I hear ya though.

Not only does the evil seem to endowed with many material things, but they are also endowed with longevity. Many of these people seem to be free from catastrophic diseases. You figure it out. I don't know what the Lord's reasons are for allowing this to happen, and why some of the good seem to afflicted with all kinds of life threatening diseases, and are in a state of poverty. However, the Bible teaches that we are NOT to be envious of the gifts given to others, so I won't, and I'll just leave it at that.

God never promised that it would be easy. But He did promise that it would be worth it!!

Mat 5:1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
Mat 5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
Mat 5:3 Blessed [are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:4 Blessed [are] they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Mat 5:5 Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Mat 5:6 Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Mat 5:7 Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Mat 5:8 Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Mat 5:9 Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Mat 5:10 Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great [is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Mat 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Mat 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Mat 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Right now, we live in a system where the rich toss and turn in their fine beds, trying to figure out how to squeeze even more from the poor, while the poor huddle under their thin blankets trying to keep warm while they try to figure out how to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table for their kids. And both rich and poor are miserable.
Is it any wonder we look for God to provide a solution?

The wicked seem as though they have everything, but their divorce rate is higher, the statistics for domestic abuse is higher. They have no peace of mind. I wouldn't trade peace on mind for all the money in the world.

That's a good question. But if you think about it, it's the powerful and wealthy that ends up committing suicide, turn to drugs and alcohol more, picking up prostitutes and is truly miserable. And if everything is taken from them, they don't know how to cope and falls hard.

Just be thankful for what you have and be patient.

The wicked are rich because they are wicked. The religious have nothing because they are being tested.

He's religious AND wicked.

You speak in material terms.

Perhaps the lesson to be learned here is this: The unfaithful are busy wasting their time by storing up treasure on Earth. Jesus taught us to "Store up treasure in Heaven."
