I would read your churches doctrinal statement. Every church has one. You can't say "this is how it's gonna be done" if your church doesn't do it that way. Meet with your pastor to discuss it.

Why do u want o choose the way u r baptized. i think the core purpose of baptism is to surrender yourself to Jesus and accept Him and The Holly Spirit into your life and become truly believe in God and purify yourself from any sin. I believe it's a commitment....

But the way u r baptized later depend on each church.
My church uses the immersion way, as Jesus was baptized in that way too.

Depends on what church you go to. Our church only allow immersion baptisms and the pastor teaches you why before you are baptized. You would have to ask your pastor how he does it and why, so you understand.

tell your ministry that you want to be baptized as was Jesus, by full immersion in the water. All other forms were not the practice of the christians of the early church.

The pastor may not be willing to oblige you, but you can probably find another pastor who will.

It's your baptism, your ceremonial symbol of faith, so you have a right to determine some of how that ceremony occurs.
