I have been overweight for a while. I am now 26...and I never thought I would find the right guy. The guy is high school was the bad boy...but he was abusive and that was all I thought I could get b/c of my size. Then I moved on, in college I met another guy, we dated and even got married. I thought for once YEH I found the guy, 3 years after getting married, I am getting divorced. He wasn't there for me when I needed it most. One day I met a guy, I wasn't even looking, he looked past by size and fell in love with me. And you know what, he loves me just the way I am.
The point I am making is that when you least expect it the guy that is meant for you will find you and love you for who you are not for what you look like.

Don't get upset. 16 is not really late. Besides, getting a bf is not the only thing to do in life. Forget the fact that u r overwt. u r what u r from ur heart. When u meet the right person he will love u no matter what, & then silly issues like overwt will b thrown out of the window. Also, don't fret that other girls have hooked up with "cute, lovable" bfs. Just watch how long they stick together; u sure don't want to go thru the pain of a breakup. Doing things too early in life results in rude & nasty endings. Wait for what God has in store for u - it will b beyond ur dreams!!! BEST OF LUCK

when the right guy comes along, it's won't be about physical attraction- heart and soul matters, there's someone for everyone out there- it will happen for you one day, it just never seems to happen as fast as you want it to- just be yourself and you will attract the one for you- i have 2 daughters 19 and 14, both are bigger girls, and they have had boyfriends -the 14 year old- i been scaring them off :D -the 19 year old just hasn't found the one for her and i'm really glad because her college is more important, she did very well in HS because she was smart,was class prez and did very little dating- kicked butt and now is in a good college because of her grades, relationships are nice, but right now your education should matter more right now

There is probably someone wanting to ask you out, just too shy to do it. Being class pres I take it that you are popular and probably pretty smart, some guys are too shy to ask out a girl in your position. Make yourself more open to talk to guys who you think you might like to date. That will open the door for them to feel comfortable enough to ask you out. Good Luck.

I went through the same thing and still am kinda but i have a boyfriend now i am a "big" girl and he is really skinny and athletic......timewillc ome for u!

There are plenty of guys that like girls with more meat on them.Don't worry yourself too much have fun with it,and go to diffrent teen functions and you'll find him.

well when the right guy comes along he wont care what you look like, he'll like you for you are. Dont always go for the popular guy becuz they are usually jerks..and if u have a crush go for it! Go Girl!

if it wasn't possible, then ALL big girls would be lonely... it'll happen once you stop lookin for it... and as far as prom, u don't need a date... all he'll wanna do is sleep with you - as it's tradition!... my girl is big and she is shade in the summer and heat in the winter...
