I would like to know the exact name brand they use. I have tried a couple different kinds and didn't get the same thin chip as they did.

Get some old corn tortillas.
With a knife or cleaver, cut them into triagles, like you would a pizza.

It easier to use a fryer but if not
In a large skillet or pot, add 4-6 cups of oil. Heat skillet/pot. Test the heat by adding 1 tortilla triangle. The tortilla should start frying immmediately.

Add a few chips at a time, and When its a light gold brown, with a sieve carefully take out the chip and put aside in a baking sheet. Dust with red chili powder. Serve warm.

If you don't have chili powder, salt or garlic salt will do too.

To keep warm you can place in the oven on low (170) until ready to eat.
