Only narrow minded men refuse to get involved with women who have children. They should look at it as a bonus. 1- You won't be pushing the issue of having a baby right away. 2- A child brings many joys into a relationship, even if it is not a biological child. Maybe you should not be looking for someone, let them find you. When you are not trying to find someone is usually when the right man will walk into your life. It happened for me. I had 2 kids & found out within a week of meeting him that I was 2 months pregnant. We have been together for three years and recently had a baby of our own. He is the answer to all my dreams. Good Luck.

On this subject there can a lot of different opions but Ive learned that of my step children that they normally hardly ever approve of yoor choice in your life but you have to live your as you love life but not forgetting your child either for your son in your may be allways in love with his father but you know in your you and are not toghther for what the reason is the son tends to be your man in your life and they feel they will be forgotten or not shown as much as they were getting so as to one you never let them sleep in the same bed cause that causes holly havok in all your lives so stop that immediatly and remind them that you need love too that your sons love and or your daghters love if very totally different to the love you and that your mate can provide but to mate allways make sure that mate is truste worthy and there is nothing in running a back ground check to see if is a molester but don't keep the information in the house and make sure that your loves children and is patient and not a hot head when things don't allways go perfect in bed or the decsion on get what to eat today or what to watch on TV you know what ,thing when all of you have to get togther and decide it can't allways be his way or your sons or daughters way or in your way allway share the decesion openly for the true familly prays together especially at table time or to say at food time and at church you can tell you need love too REY

If you've noticed a particular trait in each of these wrong men, maybe if you simply avoid that trait - though it might be difficult, you may wind up with different results. Sometime's I've wondered the same thing - why am I not finding the "right" one for myself and my daughter.
Good luck!

why do you need a man??? you have your son...if it is meant to be it will happen...if not then it won't...don't be so quick to think about marriage...you may just find that it isn't all it is cracked up to be...solitude not a bad thing
