if you're under 21 and you are in ANY bar, you're breaking the law. No one under 21 is allowed to purchase alcohol, for VERY good reasons.

Depends on the state, but typically, if it is just a BAR the answer is no. Often even if the do serve food someone under 21 cannot sit at the bar itself.

generally, if food is not being served, then no, b/c it's not considered a "restaurant and bar." some places that serve food will allow people under 21 until a certain time and then they switch over to a bar. but if they don't serve food at all, then it's just a bar and I doubt they can legally allow someone under 21 on the premises.

Yes...I live in the great state of Louisiana and you can enter a bar at 18 but must have a colored bracelet to purchase at the bar. most undearage still get drinks...especially if you are a cute girl. the law does state you must be 21 to consume and be sure nt to drink in drive cuz yu will go to jail!

I have heard that if you are a designated driver and you are under 21 they cant not make you leave the bar. I do not know how much truth this holds but it makes since.

if you are under the age of majority no you can not be in the bar without them serveing some kind of food or snack and than youhave to be with a guardian or parent

i'm in texas and it's a bar-by-bar basis. some allow 18 year olds and some only allow 21 year olds. still some others allow anyone, and you show your id every time you buy a drink.

Depends on the state.. you need to check the laws in your state. Many bars say no, others say 18 and over only... still other say yes but one adult can not drink.

yes you can be in a bar under 2 conditions 1 you are no were near the bar area 2 you are not eating or drinking anything with alcohol in it and i forgot the most imporant thing your parents have to be with you!!!!!!!

for most you have to be 21, maybe some will allow over 18. depends on the bar.. rules i'm sure also change from daytime to nighttime hours.
