Loreal excellence is very good for gray coverage.I started going gray in my early 20's, so I feel your pain! Garnier's 100% is also pretty good, depending on the color. Some shades are too 'vibrant' to adequetly cover gray. But they tell you which shade is which on the box.And it's a little less pricey than Loreal.

I have brunette hair, so I have to watch what I use for gray coverage. I buy Nice 'n Easy. It does have ammonia in it, so be careful. But, I think the ammonia helps to cover the gray. I sure do like it. I stay away from the "ash" colors because the turn my hair a greenish color, and the "warm" colors turn it more towards an orange color. I have never had a bad experience with this product, and it doesn't cost a fortune.
