I totally agree. Nothing we can do about it, but it does prove that there are a lot of wackos out there whose viewpoints are scary.
Personally, I want to thank you for your great answer to my question about my friend in the hospital who died and wasn't allowed to have his partner see him. Your words really moved me, and I appreciate your taking the time to explain your thoughts.
Sure, there's gonna be some stupid replies in this forum, but we can all take one thing with us from them.....learn how NOT to be!

I've studied Christianity in depth most of my life. I've been accused of some strange answers, but that doesn't mean they aren't well thought out and reasoned. Often, the right answer sounds strange. For example, who would ever have believed that something can be both a wave and a particle? Sure, you've grown up knowing that light was that, but why did it take scientists almost five hundred years to figure it out? Because they couldn't accept the idea that something could be both. Then you get someone who says, "Hmm, look at this. All the evidence says it's a wave. Also, all the evidence says it's a particle. So it must be both." And what was the reply he got? "That's just too wierd to believe!" Except, now all of modern optics is based on that idea, and it works. If it weren't both, modern optics wouldn't work: some things would work if it were a particle, some if it were a wave, but some things, like a laser, only work if it's both. Go figure.
So yes, there are wild answers. Do you really study the answers before you judge them wrong? Of course not! They're too wild... it would be like saying something was both a particle and a wave...and we all know that can't happen...

Does anyone here ever really STUDY this before they answer?
Every answer I make is based on study and Experience. I also Believe in walking out what I talk about. Remember no one is perfect or with out error even me. I also extend the "Benefit of Doubt" to everyone that they also do, until shown otherwise.

This is the Internet. There are plenty of intellegent, decent, people here. But you're also going to get an endless variety of weirdos.
That's the one problem with the Internet. It breaks down all social barriers that normally keep the weirdoes and normals separated and throws you into an inpredictable mix of charaters.

I agree with you about reading the question first ,I commented on this a couple of times yesterday ,especially when someone congratulated someone who had just lost a baby,I think they just see a question read first few words and then write their opinion.I only answer questions to which I think I have an answer for

Yes Ma'am, I do. I only give an outrageous answer in response to an outrageous question. If you have seen some of the questions here in Answers, you will understand why. Peace!

I agree, some people are just stupid with what they say, but then again the reason is probably that they talk too much to gain any real knowledge. Those who think they know everything, never learn anything.

Same with me. Sometimes if I have extra time I might look up a good website related to the question, but who has time to study?
