He has everything and says he wants nothing. I am just looking for ideas. He is a handyman type of guy, but I got him gift certificates for tools in previous years.

A "service" gift certificate such as grass cutting. That's what we got our Dad last year. This year, it's a three month subscription to NetFlix.

Give him a piece of paper stuck in his Father's Day card that grants him XXX amount of hours of your help in his tasks around the house and/or yard. You choose the amount of hours you want to give to him for a set amount of time... like a week or a month or even a year. Or write out a set of jobs that you are willing to do... like ... wash the car, mow the lawn...etc. Then you write it out and sign it, and slip it into his card and seal the envelope.

This is a free gift and it will be really good time to bond together and have special time with your Dad... You can turn it into events that will make memories that will last for both of you into your old age... if you do it together.

Good question. Men are hard to buy for. I usually get my dad a card and some Jelly Belly jelly beans. They're his favorite type of candy. :-)

Get him a book, or a picture of you and him framed!
