I have many friends who are citizens of the US who want nothing better than to leave their motherland and live in other parts of the world. I was wondering if the issue is a bigger one and that there are a heap more people all thinking the same. What are your views?

Honestly, Im dying to leave myself. The US is becoming very hated by the rest of the world and it's getting kinda scary living here. The government has completly ruined our relationship with anywhere outside the US. By killing innocent people...the US has build up some very bad Karma...and sooner or later we will pay for what Bush has done and continues to do.

Why don't you form a not for profit corporation and collect donations just for the purpose of helping people who want to leave? If you guaranteed that most of the money would go to that purpose, I would make the first donation.

Me and most of my family would love to leave. I just wonder how many expensive hoops we'd have to jump through to get out. Passports aren't free, ya know. Plus we'd have to find some place that didn't hate american citizens because of our screwed up government. Any suggestions? We'd like to go before we get blown up or poisoned.

The only ones I know that want "desperately" to leave the US is the ones that are crooks.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to leave the US -- people are breaking laws to get in! If someone does want out, though, nobody is stopping them.

my boyfriend is from jamaica, I plan on moving there within the next ten years permanantly. It is a more laid back lifstyle, it never get's cold, and it's beautiful!!And it's much cheaper to live!!!That's where I plan to retire !!

"desperate" to leave? What's stopping them? It's cheaper to fly to Europe from the midwest than to California. Just encourage them to give up their citizenship on the way out please!!!
