It is so hard to eat right when you have a husband or significant other that expects you to cook for him. I just end up eating what I cook and most of the time it isn't very healthy due to his eating preferences. Also he wants to go out to dinner on the weekends and then I find myself eating fatty stuff too. I just don't know what to do to slim down! I work a lot during the week and for about three weeks I was doing dance cardio videos and using the treadmill everyday with good results but sometimes I'm just to tired to do anything. Any ideas?????

Some quick and easy get fit tips-

When you go to work, the mall, the grocery store, always park in the last spot. Not only do you save the hassle of looking for a spot, but you get alot of extra walking in.

Never use the elevator. Unless you live in Manhattan, of course. If you worked where I do, you'd never use the elevator anyway, cause people get stuck in there all the time.

Keep bottled water on you at all times! If it's there, you'll drink it. You should be refilling that thing about six times a day!

Get other people on the bandwagon, your boyfriend, or your coworkers. They'll guilt you into working out when you don't feel like it.

Switch all your grains to whole grains. Mr. Whineybutt will get used to it. Switch your dairy all to skim and fat free. Be sneaky and pour the skim milk in the whole milk container if you have to, he'll never notice the difference.

Keep lots of quick healthy snacks around the house and keep those by the stove while you cook. By the time dinner is done, you can just sit down and drink a cup of tea while everyone else eats their fat. Healthy snacks are the easiest snacks, I don't know why more people don't eat them. Raw veggies, fruit, fat free yogurt, cheese, nuts, dried fruits and berries, whole grain cereals, etc.

it's all about your calorie intake, so if eat breakfast and a small lunch then I think it's okay to eat a well cooked meal @ night.
I as well go 2 the gym 5 days a week and am in a dance class I have managed to lose 5 lbs this past 2 weeks and it's all b/c I am writing down what I eat and the calories in each meal. It takes some time but I think you can do it. Hope this helps

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

My wife and I committed to do it together. not so much with the goal to lose wieght but to be healthier altogether. the weight loss will come with that. If you both were eat the same things it only reinforces the choices that you have already made. Remove all the unhealthy foods from your home. Replace them with healthy foods and snacks. get your man involved he won't be happy at first but when he starts seeing and feeling the difference he will change his mind. Its hard at first but it gets easier.
