They don't usually play DVDs with Mp3s on - but ordinary Cd's with Mp3s on. Try burning a CD with 200 MP3s on and it should play. Name the folders with the artists name. The DVD player will only show part of the file name - so you want the title first and then artist! Then you select the artist by selecting the folder and then select the track. 200 on a CD is good enough and they're cheap.

That is very probable, many home DVD players will not read MP3 CD's that are made on a computer, especially if you used folders. Try placing all of the files on the DVD without any folders, this will work for some and not others....it never was a good idea!!

Odds are good that you created the DVD as a data DVD and not a music DVD.

Your DVD creation software will probably have an option somewhere to burn your DVDs as music or data. If you pick music, it will finalize the disc for you.

If the disc is created properly and still won't play, it's probably your player's fault (perhaps a copy protection feature gone awry).

If you didn't finalise the dvd it won't work on many mp3 players, and not only!
