My #1...being jumped on by a salesman like a shark on a wounded fish. That's why I go car-looking on Sundays. No guy hanging over my shoulder and trying to push me. Then I can go back, find a salesman, and start talking, on MY terms about the car I want, not the one he gets the best commission on.... Hope this answer suffices.

Salesmen that need to be sent for diversity training. There are still a good number of dealerships where the sales people don't bother to talk to a woman alone.
Sometimes, though, it helps. When the expert sales people go for the couples shopping, I get the newbie. The youngest, least experienced sales guy is just the one I want to talk to.

The vehicles price not being clearly marked is really annoying. Like they think i'll just fall in love with the car and pay whatever rediculous price they ask after I see it. I don't even look at cars that are not priced anymore.

Every car salesman (or woman) says it, and annoys the hell out of me.

the number one thing that pees me off is going to a car dealer and the sign saying out of bussiness !

well, since i am female, all the sales guys assume that I know absolutely nothing about cars & that I'm stupid! I HATE THAT!!!!! Same thing when I have to take my car to get fixed.....
