Ok Heres my problem, Ive fallen for a girl I've known for what seems like ever. actually been falling for a while now. Shes my best net friend and she says I am to. We're both a little on the shy side, but I'm more so than her. Ive never had a relationship so im not sure how to really even go about it. I lock up when talking to girls and feel like a moron, I dont want to screw this up especially with her because if i do, I run the risk of losing the friendship as well. She does say she likes me, but heres what puzzles me. When Im around she ignores me entirely anymore, nothing like how we used to be. Talking for hours on end, joking, flirting ect. Shes asked me before if I liked her as more than a friend but my foolish self beat around the bush like a scared child. I cant do anything without her on my mind and her ignoring me now only furthers my insanity lol Any advice? she also seems like she wants to meet me but I get the feeling shes making excuses not to. Should I give up?

you blew your chance. that's it. period. i understand shyness. i also understand the dynamic of online dating. u don't wanna ask for too much too soon(and seem like a stalker)versus if your slow u blow. bottom line u need to cut to the chase NOW. the next time u talk to her come right out with it. say:
'hey, we've been talkin for a while and i'm feelin u. it seems like u like me as well. so what are we doin here? are we gonna take the next step? give me your number and let's talk like normal people.'
assuming u get the number u should go right to the next step and set up a meeting. something quick. coffee or something. arriving and leaving separately if she prefers. none of that punk talkin on the phone for another month crap. get right to it and if she's not with it, get back in the chat room and find a new chick. u should be talkin to multiple chicks at a time anyway until u are in an established. relationship.

No don't give up. One thing that I know for sure is girls love guys that have confidence and who are persistant. If you really like this girl then you can't let your fear of rejection stop you from getting what you want. I know it's hard to expose yourself like that with a chance that she will turn you down. But if you never try you will NEVER know! You seem like a really sweet guy and if she can't see that their will be other people who will. And if it ends up ruining the friendship you were never really friends. Oh and if she does turn you down the first time keep trying that's how my b/f got me. He was persistant and confident.

sounds to me like she knows you want more from this and she got a little scared.
i would take this very slowly. don't blurt out any feelings yet. if she says your her best friend, why she ignoring you? if you have feelings she doesn't want to meet up, you may be right!
take a couple of steps back and try to see her as just a friend. believe me, if she wants more she will let you know!!
