There are many types of people in this world with many types of behaviors. There are passive people, who don't have any back bones to speak what is on their minds and usually go with the flow in life and are comfortable with other people telling them what to do or how to live.

There are passive-aggressive people. This type of a person is passive to a point, but, if provoked could express their feelings and opinions of someone who is wanting to boss them around. This person has more of a back bone than the person who is passive all the time.

There are aggressive people. This type of a person is very over bearing, demanding and has no problem bossing other people around and they have back bone to speak their minds and or opinions with no trouble. This person is not bullied easily and is often viewed as a bully himself or herself.

We all learn behaviors when we grow up. Depending on what behaviors our parents or grandparents had depends on what we may have. In my case, my mother was very passive and she learned that from her mother. My dad on the other hand was the exact opposite and he was aggressive, which he learned from his mother.

It's up to each individual to decide if they want to stay the way they are. It's up to each individual to choose how they deal with their own lives and their own situations. If someone has been passive for many many years they may feel uncomfortable to change to better themselves. This is the case with my mother. But that doesn't have to be true in all people.

What type of behavior do you have? Are you happy with it? Do you want to improve your life? Only you can do this, no one can do this for you.

I hope I was helpful to you!

I know the feeling. I believe we learn behavior. I also believe we can change our behavior. It isn't easy. Everyday I decide I am going to stand up for myself at least once in that day. I think and hope I can create a new behavior. Standing up for yourself can be invigorating. Good luck and take each day one at a time. Believe you can change your behavior!!!
