I've never gone as wide as 5' but I have gone 10' long.

Commerical printing companies are the best, if you can get a local company (search yellow pages for printers),

Otherwise Check out companies like
Printpelican (www.printpelican.com)
Koolprint (www.koolprint.com)

Both do customized size printing and both have provided me with great large prints in the past.

You have a couple of options as far as output choice. One, large scale injet printers. These are similar to home injets, but oversized and typically better quality. Second option is a print on traditional photopaper using a larger machine. Quality will be better, it will be on normal photopaper and have a similar lifespan. This option is more expensive. Both require hi-res digital files. Look for a professional photolab who handles output of that size.
