Yeah, I've been there. It didn't stand out for me really - middle of nowhere and dry, I think.

I was there last during September of last year...you're best to pick winter as even then it was very hot and very dry!
It's a true outback town...quiet but not totally quiet...although, and I'm not being racist, do be careful of the Aboriginal locals...the publican told me of the problems they are having from unemployment and alcohol abuse...you'll see the proof in barred windows.
Not really much there to be honest...but a nice town to have a look at.

i was there about 15 years ago was a nice little town then but out in the middle of nowhere long drive to get there with not much to see on the way
