The universe created by God has influenced religion greatly.

Many people believe in God just by contemplating the universe.

I think we need to learn from history, live today like it's our last, and plan for the future.

I don't think we should or need to predict the future.

We should trust the future to God, the creator of the universe.

With love in Christ.

Actually astrologists believe that the Star of Bethlehem was a planetary conjunction. It therefore it would have been very bright in the sky. The Magi were not Kings they were Magi which were magicians. They followed the star because it was an astrological event. Although the church picked Dec 25th as the birthday of Christ chances are He was a Pisces born in late Feb or early March. The sign of the Christians was the astrological sign for Pisces, 2 fishes intertwined. We do not need to look to the universe but it very interesting isn't it?

Mythology, your joking right? There is absolutely nothing, i mean nothing, disproving Jesus' birth. Even the Muslims and Jews know that he existed. They don't believe he was the son of God, but they know he existed.

That being said, with Jesus calling himself the son of God, he would be either a liar, a lunatic, or the Lord. If he was a liar, there would be evidence somewhere to support that he messed up someplace with his lie. The Jews were constantly trying to trick him into messing up and couldn't. Even the most ruthless of Roman overseers couldn't find fault in him. If he was a lunatic, it would have been easy for those near him to see through him. But they were willing to die for him long after he had left them. That only leaves one option left.

Now as to your question, the star shown brightly to show the way for the Wise men to come to his location. It isn't a sign of a future event. For your information, historically speaking, Jesus was nearly a year old when they finally gave him gifts. It is just easier to encompass all the events surrounding his first year of life into one celebration.

Bizarre question, if you don't mind me saying so. Jesus and the star of Bethlehem are religious mythology. They're unlikely to have been real events.

That is a strange observation since no one actually knows when Jesus was born. There is no proof he actually existed, so how did you determine when he was born?
