A simple " I had a great time, we should do this again, I'll call you " is very acceptable for a first date. However don't wait a week to call her, by then she thinks you probably weren't interested and just being nice. If you say your going to call her a 2-3 day window is not pushy yet still showing you are interested.

If you have a great time.......don't wait!! Just let her know at the end of the date that you had a blast and would like to do it again sometime real soon. Tell her you will give her a call in a day or two to make some plans if that's alright with her. Speaking entirely from my own point of view...I like it when I know what a guy is thinking (I hate guessing games) BUT I also hate to feel pressured or backed into a corner right away as in they call constantly or start talking marriage right off the bat (that HAS happened to me before...for real) Just be yourself...that's the important thing!!
I wish you the best of luck and HAVE FUN!!!!

Assuming it goes fine, go for it. Talk about a movie you want to see or some resturant you've been wanting to try. Or, if you picked tonights date, ask what she would like to do next time.

If you like her you should ask her when the first date is over. I personally have never looked at that as the guy being too eager.

There is nothing wrong with bringing up the subject of possibly going out again at the end of the first date. The women will really like that, it will tell her right away that you really enjoyed her company & she'll go home happier for knowing.

If it goes well, and you like her, you could casually say at the end of the date, "we should do this again sometime," and watch her reaction. But I would wait to call her later to ask her properly, and hammer out the details.

Ask her for the second date right when you pick her up on the first day, jk don't do that you may never get the chance to talk to her again.
