my husband is a very strong person, but if anything was to happen to our pets he would fall apart. this doesn't make you a weak person, just a caring one. I am sorry for you loss. Hang it there.

Have a good cry. If my cat died I would be hurt. Even if he is a pain sometimes. He comes at 6:00 in the morning and licks my eyes with his rough tongue and has claimed a piece of my flower garden. You'll have your hands full with those kittens though now that the mother is gone. I send my best wishes to you and my condolences. Just thinking about it makes me want to cry. Good luck with your babies.

i am not a guy. but i am truly sorry for your lost, i know how hard it is to lose a cat.
so if you feel like crying, you do so. i'm sure you've had this cat for a long time, so it doesn't make you look less of a man if you want to cry over it.
pets are children only in fur clothing, so i'm sorry again for your lost, i hope her kittens bring you joy though and you can always remember her through them.

I always hated cats until I got one. I used to have a major chipmunk problem , mainly getting under the house, but now I don't see any nowhere anymore .Yes I would be a little upset to see her die, but crying over a cat? I don't think so.

Sorry for that good sir. I lost a cat not long ago that was my chum and it tore me up. I love cats very much (consider them much more the manly pet compared to dogs in fact) and having that loss hurt is not at all a bad thing.

I am deeply sorry for you loss :-(
I know how painful losing a cat (who is after all a member of the family) is for anybody, it doesn't vary.
You probably don't think i'm talking sense but the pain will get better eventually.

Cry you will feel better. I'm sure lots of men feel the way you do. Men have feelings too and need to cry too.

It's okay, really. If you didn't feel sad, then there would be a reason for concern. Don't let some corners of society make you shut down. Feel it. Like my favorite saying goes "If you are going through hell, then go through it"
