i love blondes. i'm not hatin. i just think the stereotyping won't go away if they start too. i have read alot of things about blondes sayin stuff about themselves. it's sad. nobody is dumb becaseu they are blonde

You do realise that your question just held up the whole stereotype about blondes don't you?
I love being a blonde because it suits my complexion. I don't care what people say, it's usually becasue they are jealous in the first place anyway. I had a friend who was incredibly intelligent but a bit dizzy, and she would make the excuse "ooh it's cos I'm blonde" which me and my other blonde friend found to be incredibly insulting. Not only that but when questioned about it she would say "the peroxide's gone to my brain". Which just insulted us more as we both have highlights, but also naturally blonde hair. So there was no way for her to win really. She should have just shut up. I think she was a blonde in the first place becasuse she didn't like being seen as a nerd or a geek as she was very clever and studious. Apart from when it came to social interaction of course.
Stop hating blondes!

Somebody beat me to the answer I was going to give. Huh? But I know some blondes who are so-o-o-o-o dumb and they don't joke on themselves - they have no sense of humor at all. They don't laugh at anything. But the ones that laugh at themselves are healthy [and probably bottle blondes]. Everyone should be able to laugh at themselves - and there have been jokes about certain groups forever. I remember when the Polish jokes went around - one of our dearest friends was Polish, and he told the funniest jokes.

I was a blonde for ten years (now I'm back to being a redhead) I admit to making the occasional blonde joke but it was a defensive thing!!

Since most people have dubed blonde chicks dumb, it is psychological to take it as a joke so as not to feel the pressures of a not so good old trend. So joking about it is one way to deal with it. Most of them are smart enough to know that and most blonds have smarten up because of the dumb saying about them, Now they are the ones who have the last laugh. One of my best friends is blonde and she is one of the brightest girls I know.

god knows...sometimes when the wrong thing comes out my brother is like "r u pullin a blonde"? i just start crackin up u kno. What this makes a real total reality is when kelly pickler in american idol was totally being a blonde lol all the comments were just plain hilarious and to her it was her actual answer so go figure lol....

I'm blonde and I don't tell blonde jokes. When I hear a good one I giggle and change them to brunette jokes.
And BTW they are jokes...get it...a joke. No harm no foul. Just a bunch of one liners constructed to make people smile a bit.

they think its funny. People who don't get blonds now that is funnier. well that i like cuz I make blond jokes too. When my friends do i laugh. Tho they are blond also..they laugh too. its just funny. But some blonds are dumber than others.

they aren't, they are joking about the bottle blondes! everytime you hear of a dumb blonde, it's always a bottle blonde, never a natural blonde.
it's the bottle blondes giving the natural blondes a bad name.

You have to be able to laugh at yourself! And just about every blonde joke is interchangeable with a Pollock joke. Not sure where they came from...

It gets to me, im natraul brunette as soon as i turned blonde people thort i was stupid on first glance and men thort i was a slut!!!!! woman hate blondes and men love to like them, but not date seriously. because of course shes a slag! well sod you all, i love being blonde and it looks good so rack off!!!! theres nothing wrong with blondys
