Mexico and the USA?

Question

If all the Mexcians were given a change to just go live in the USA, do you think Mexicans would pack up and leave for the USA.

(1) if you a Mexican living in Mexico, How about you, would YOU go ?. if yes, why, if not then why?
(2) If you an American living in USA,
would you pack up and leave for Mexico ? if yes, why, if not then why?

I live in Mexico, and I wouldn't want to live in the U.S. Why? First of all, because I was born here, this is my country and I love it. My whole family is here, my baby was born here, simply...I have a good and peacful life here. Why would I want to leave and start all over again? Why would I want to live where I'm not wanted? I live an honest life, I work hard to have what I have, even if it's not too much yet, since I'm young and just started working. This is life, I was born here and I'll stay here.

I like Mexico, is the goverment I don't like.

And to people that say we don't have running water, bathrooms, etc....WHERE did you go to??? For God sakes, in the city I live at, we have EVERYTHING...and it's a small city. We have all the restaurants with the fatty food, etc...etc...next time go to a civilized place, goodness...

Yes I do think that the Mexicans would pack up in a second to move to America. I was married to a Mexican for almost 5 years and have been to the "ranches" in Mexico and I just couldn't believe my eyes. It's just so much. No running water, no bathroom, if the water well is dry then they're pretty much S.O.L. There was only 1 extension cord running through the 2 "huts" for electric. No stove, fridge. It was a rough "vacation". Family there is amazing though! Thats what I love about it. They don't really have a pot to piss in but they've got each other! I could never move 100% to Mexico because I am to Americanized, but like I said if I were Mexican living in Mexico and was given the oppertunity to live in America and give my family the "American Lifestyle", oh yeah, I'd be on the first bus North!

I'm mexican staying in the states but working in mexico. (cross the border every day and have my permit to stay in USA).
Almost all my family lives in the States, some illegaly some legally. I don't want to be part of the people who stay here illegaly. I dont want to be pointed as a "criminal" for breaking the law.
that's why i refuse to work here. I work in Mexico because i have a great job and I love it. but if I had to make a decision I would leave Mexico if that means I could be with my whole family. if not, then I would stay in Mexico.

I'm not Mexican, but I bet you they certainly would all come into the USA. No, I would not ever want to move to Mexico - maybe visit on a vacation, but never to live there. The government is corrupt, the police are corrupt, there are way too many gangs and the economics of the country are too poor.

Great question Chui. Mexico would be a great place to live if you didn't have to worry about lawlessness. There's too much crime. A tons of shantys down there. If you drive down to Rosarito you see these beautiful beach homes with rocks thrown through the windows. I'd personally love to live on the beach but not where people have no laws. USA is better. People come here because it's not anarchy.

If they think it is a limited time deal, I think almost all would, or most out of every family. THere are those that are rich in Mexico, or that are too proud to come, but think about it, it is an oppurtunity to make good money! Alot of my husband's family would come, if not only to visit! My husband and I have a house in both countries, we go back and forth anyway.

If I were a Mexican living in Mexico, I don't know what I would do. It would depend...would I be one of the rich "Mexicans" you can see on the novelas or would I be living en el rancho with no running water? My circumstances would dictate my decision.

If I were an American living in the US...oh wait, I AM...I'll stay, thanks.

Yes, they probably would. I am American, I love my country, I would never go live in Mexico.

If many more Mexicans come to America Im going to have to move to Canada or Europe or something. Im so sick of seeing commercials in Spanish, signs in Spanish, asking someone a question and getting pseudo-English jibber because for some reason you dont have to learn English to come here.
