The Hyundai Matrix (known in Australia as the Elantra Lavita) is an MPV sold mainly in Europe by the Hyundai Motor Company. The vehicle was designed by the famous Italian car designer company Pininfarina.
The car had five seats and is availible in 1.5, 1.6 and 1.8 litre form. The 1.8 has a top speed of 114 mph and a 0-60 time of 11.3 seconds.
Curiously enough, Toyota sells a similar model in North America with the same name, called the Toyota Matrix. There are no mechanical similarities between them.
