What makes God a God is His Creatorship. There is only one creator of the Universe that includes heavens, angels, and Humans. The multitude of Gods is what the humans have created.

Therefore, the true God does not charge you for worshipping him, but rather requires us to worship Him. He has created this earth in Six days and rested on the seventh-day that he hallowed. He made man the steward of this planet. All is His, we are just stewards. Yet, He says that we could keep all that we earn. But He expects people to set a side the seventh-day to worship Him and to return to Him only a portion (1/10) of all that he has given to us.

The command to remember the sabbath day to keep it holy when forgotten, resulted in the creation of new Gods and new religions.

as a worldly person I don't know if you can understand,

as a christian family we give a couple hundred dollars a month we don't have to, we were convicted to do so by reading the Bible( it says to tithe)
we have been blessed so much because of this, we are actually quite poor, but we choose to give money to further Gods kingdom to save souls, and lives! everything is God's to begin with
most churches use it for missionaries, sick and the poor.
(I mean really poor, not what YOU consider poor)
poor is not renting a studio apartment and surviving of ramen)
poor is having your mother die of AIDS and then your dad selling you into prostitution, not eating...at all people like you think they are hungry when they havent eaten lunch....
of course some churches spend the money on coffee machines and buildings and landscaping, activities and trips,
but they are not doing Gods will, and they will be judged.
and we are happy we have more than we need, life is temporary
even when Bill Gates dies, how much will he take with him?
none! some churches are bossy about it. which is wrong.
If you don't give it with your heart it doesn't really count to God anyways, It's the sacrifice.
It's also a way to help us not be materialistic, all things belong to God, he is kind to let us use them. He's redistributing whats his to begin with so even good people will rely on him rather than money,
God bless!

All Gods. However, those Gods who have not given you anything may charge you your soul if you let them. The God who gave you your life and everything you need in order to live charges you only 10% of your income. If you have no income He charges you 10% of that--.10 x 0 = 0.

I don't think the gods charge the money. The money is supposed (keyword:supposed) to be for the upkeep of the church or other place of worship. I think. But I know muslims do it as well.

Funny, it almost made me laugh, oh wait, no that was something else happening at the time I read your question, not very mature...I sure hope that you are under 10 years old, because anything older than that, and you have a big problem...If you want to mess around in questions about religion, ask them in the jokes and riddles section of games, music and entertainment. Don't do things like this, can get your account suspended for a month quickly.

It's not being charged to worship. LOL It's tithes to pay the Pastor and upkeep of the church for a community effort. Also for a benevolence to help out people who are going through tough times. When times are going good for you you give; when you're having a tough time they help you. That's been our experience anyway. It is hard on our selfishness to give upfront though.

Rabbis were some of the wealthiest people in ancient Judea, as they are today.

Protestants took up the practiced invented by "Jews" and adopted by the Catholic church.

Fortunately for Americans, the US is an atheist (secular) nation and the government doesn't require all citizens to tithe like other nations did in the "good old days."

They all charge something Christians charge 10% but that's net I think Muslims get charged like 20 or more and it's gross. I have an account who trys to get me the best deal but he's Jewish so who knows.
