Ha! All these Freuds here didnt even get the question!!

Your problem is that you're too scared to confront your parents because you're a girl and you feel that its not very girl-like to speak about marriage.

The only answer to your question is - forget for a moment that you're a girl (not literally!). Just think of yourself as an adult who is now ready to lead her own life and make her own decisions. This guy - Mr 10 times in 7 years - he was your decision - not your parents' or anyone elses!

Get your face out of that veil of stupidity and do what you want to do. If your parents arent resisting, then why are you persisting?

I'm sorry but if you have been with a man for 7 years and you are still not married and you both are so "madly in love" then something is seriously wrong. I don't buy it that you have only seen him 10 times in 7 years. You are not telling the whole story. I think get rid of this guy before he wastes another 7 years of your life.

ask him if he is thinkin about marriage. Then see what is gonna happen next. Somethin good may happen. If you two have been together for 7 years, you kno you two were ment for eachother. So go ahead and see...whats stoppin you from getting that answer you want?!?!

Is he far away? Go visit him, and see how it goes! Dont worry about talking to your parents about getting married. It's your choice and you have to follow your heart.
