cardio...cardio...and cardio.
It's time to hit the gym, and make it a lifestyle choice ! Moreover, your game plane is to make your legs( your quadraceps and hamstrings) super fit by running on the treadmill/elliptical machine for 40 minutes per gym visit(Once your fit you should go for 20 to 30 minutes). Then, once you start feelling stronger( in about 1 or 2 months... if you go to the gym about 3 to 4 times a week) start with back strengthening excercises using bowflex-like machines and leg presses(squates) for legs(again!!) and low back. Finally, once you start seeing results in the tone of your back(you will!) you can start experimenting with free weights and gym machines. Now for the most important part! After each work out you must reward yourself with a good stream room/ sauna session. Otherwise, all your muscles will not relax and you will cause more harm than good to your body. I recommend streches in a hot place like inside a steam room. I find that after a vigourous workout the sauna or steam room works best after, not before a workout, and be patient with your heat tollerance...your body will get use to it. At first, go for 5 minutes at a time, eventually you will be able to stand the heat for about half an hour. This program will allow you to eat anything you want while looking like a movie star!!

I was in your position. You have to learn some things which will help you as it did for me.
People didn't know the nutrient for a long time, and would work and skip meals. And some who eat four times a day didn't realise that it is best to teach 5 types of different coloured vegs because each colour has a different nutrition value for your body.
Now, simply put mate;
You can eat really good food but by the time its on the shelf, it's either been hit by pollution, by shelved for a while by companies that get workers to collect the veg, fruits and stored. Doing this, means the nutrition you need is dissappearing.
Carl Rehnborg found out that by using the food around us, such as plants, fruits and concentrate them in tablet form, he can help people to get the nutritient it needs.
This started when he was in China. What happened then was civil war, and people were closed in. He lived with few friends and was isolated. They had no food in store. So what he did is he used the plants, fresh vegetables around him and made a soup, broth. He also used animal bones and crushed them for calcium, and also put nails in the soup for iron. When soup was ready, he took the nails out, and he and his friends lived on the soup.
Now, after three months, the civil and political climate in China improved. He and his friends came out of isolation within the farm feeling and looking very healthy but those who lived in the cities and lived on big army rations looked unhealthy and felt unhealthy. It hit him then, the idea.
He flew to USA and opened his own labatory and from there created the first mult-vitamin and mineral supplements. It is now number one in the world and it is called Double X and its been on Discovery channel which only shows science break through.
I tried this for one year and man, I feel great. I feel healthy. I even go protien powder from same place, and protien bars and drinks too.
You work towards eating your daily 3 meals a day. Not chips but proper food and then with each meal, you take the Double X supplements with each meal, 3 times a day. The Double X helps build your DNA and makes your cells strong. That is why I never got cold now for last year while my mates have.

Yeah def. workouts... do cruntches and all that. The Ab Machine is good. I'm not sure of the except name but it's a chair and it works out really good. Maybe it's called the Ab Lounge, my mom has it and I use to use it when I lived with her. Then just lay off on so much of the junk food. But def. by working that out will help ya.

Lots and lots of water (NO SODA EVEN DIET), lots of fresh veggies (lightly steamed if possibe to retain all their good stuff), avoid beef as much as possible and stick to skinless chicken and turkey!
As far as exercise, you neeed cardio...at least try and do 30 min each day! In addition, I'd recommen pilates or yoga...both are excellent in strenghtening the abs;)

Hey eating itself isn't important. You have to exercise properly too inorder to tone your body. It would be better if you take training from a physical trianer and nutritionist for initial 2-3 months and then follow the routine on your own. HTH.

Only eat when you're hungry and not because you want to. Food is fuel. You don't put more fuel in the car every hour. When you eat, eat as little as will satisfy your hunger, no more. Salads are great, but even eating lettuce by itself can satisfy your hunger and there is NO FAT in lettuce.

I think now is the time to switch that junk food to more healthy food and add abdominal exercises if you are not already. I promise you, abdominal development does not happen by crunches alone....diet is the key.

Don't do those horrid fad diets like Atkins and SouthBeach. Just eat LESS. Limit portions to the size of your palm and don't eat more than 4 portions total at any meal. Limit snacks to ONE portion.
