Yes it can mess up your eyes! It depends on the contacts you wear and how they're prescribed as to how long you should wear them.

Ask the optometrist, but the best way is used the daily disposable lenses and if it's cost you a lot of money, you may go for monthly ones. Don't go beyond the time limit, okay ?. Take a great care on your visions and your eyes too !.
