Are you drinking with friends or alone? If with friends then find something you can share unless you are working on a mean drunk then you shouldn't buy anything. Just go to the local bar and steal people's drinks off the table. Expect a good scrape but pay atttention to what your drinking so you can learn what you like. That's the way my daddy did it and he's one of the best drunks you'll ever meet.

My new favorite is Chocolate Martini's..OMG they are sooooo good!
1 1/2 shots Godiva® chocolate liqueur
1 1/2 shots creme de cacao
1/2 shot vodka
2 1/2 shots half-and-half
Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake and pour into a chilled cocktail glass.
Also another good drink is called a Mattress, simple
1 Shot of a good rum add cranberry and orange juice to it. Easy and delicious! P.S. Cranberry juice is good for the kidneys...he, hee!!!

I suggest you try out the different brands available in a good bar so that you can choose one you really like. Go for quality though and never drink more than is sensible. It can rot your guts as well as become addictive.

I drink bacardi and coca cola, some people suggest to get coke with lime. I have never tried it, would like to get that. sounds good.
