Jesus didn't kill himself. I don't understand the question. The Old Testament isn't the way things fly anymore.

You are right that Jesus said , no man takes my life from me, I lay it down of myself but forgiveness in the old testament was looking ahead to the death of Jesus and was seen in the symbol of animal sacrifices, which stopped after the death of Jesus.
I believe the passage in Jeremiah you quoted is a prophesy speaking of the time when Jesus was to come and die for the sins of the world. Good people and bad people are all the same in God's eyes because "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." With out the death of Jesus no one could be saved from eternal death in hell.

There was forgiving and cleansing in the Old Testament but it did not work out well for most people. So God had to destroy mankind many times to try and establish people that followed and obeyed His teachings. As the results were not gratifying, He decided to come into this earth and give His life as a ransom for all of us sinners. Since, then He is always there for us interceding for us on our behalf to God the Father so we may have life eternal.

Jesus did not kill himself, he was killed for our sins. He made a new covenant. In the Old Testament, there was a covenant between God and man (Abraham) But the covenant was flawed because of man's sinfulness not because of God because God is not flawed. In Christ Jesus, a new and perfect covenant was created because Christ was without sin and perfect. The olny son of the God most high. Jesus needed to die for our sins because the old sacrificing of animals was imperfect. Jesus now becomes the perfect single and only sacrifice needed to have our sins forgiven. Jesus opened the veil that separated God from his children through Christ. In those passages that you quoted from the bible, notice that God is speaking in future tense. "I will Cleanse, I will pardon" not "I Have cleansed, I have pardoned" God refers to the future when Jesus becomes the single perfect sacrifice for all.

Did Jesus kill himself? I always thought the soldiers did it? Interesting. I don't believe in sin. All people are equal in the end. God loves Hitler as much as Jesus. Both are from him.

Jesus didn't kill himself. He was crucified.
All have sinned.
The wages of sin is death.
Prior to His death and resurrection those who had died in the faith were not able to enter heaven because their sins had not been atoned.
Once Jesus had paid the price for our sins he rectified the situation.

if Jesus didn't die for our sins we would've had to pay with our own lives... He died for us so that we may not perish but have eternal life...

Do not read anything anymore. Reading is not good for people that can not understand what they read.
