..makes comments like "she's hot" when you two pass by someone on the street, or see someone in the magazine, on TV/movies, etc. Do you get mad/peeved? Do you think it's rude? Disrespectful to you? Why or why not?

Thanks for all the answers so far. I just needed to know if I'm the only one who feels that way. :\

i think it is very disrespectful.....and very childish. We all see things in life that we would like but we have to respect the feelings of the person we are with. Nothing pisses me off as much as a man i am sitting with flirting with a waitress. If my company is not good enough for you, dont go out with me but if you do...then make a point of being my company.

Well he never really said oh she's hot while passing someone on the street.. but I seen him break his neck to check out someone the street, and that's just so rude ya know... but I could care less if he seen someone on tv or a celeb and thinks she's hot or w/e. But now we are married and he doesnt' do that anymore, so it's all good.

I used to get really upset up it if it was someone on the street, because she was "real". If he said it about a movie star it didn't bother me as much. I still kinda think it is disrespectful, but I try not to let it bother me. He doesn't do it much anymore.

I agree with That Girl, it is about respect. Regardless of it being harmless or not they should respect you enough to keep that to themselves. Let him know if it bothers you. If you don't he could take it as being OK and could take it a step further. If you give someone an inch they will take a foot.

I don't get upset I usually agree or disagree with him. I think it is trust in the relationship, it is human nature to check out the other sex. Don't you do it? You two should be comfortable enough to be able to do that if not you got problems.

I'm married and lucky that my husband has not been so disrespectful to me. I would be angry if he acted like that. A man has got to have some respect for me to be with me.

No, i wouldnt care (or i should say , i didnt care when i had boyfriends) because they are with me. If they were with someone else, they might see you and say that you are hot. And just because he doesnt say it doenst mean he's not thinking it.

I used to. My husband doesn't do it since we got married. It is a matter of respect I think.

Well, when your boyfriend starts looking at guys and saying "he's hot," then you have a real problem.
