Depending how strong your prescription is, you may be able to go without your glasses. Just be sure to leave them somewhere safe, like your room.

If you have a stronger prescription, it will be harder for you to see and you may not enjoy it as much. Contact the diving company and ask them about their goggles. Some are specifically made for people that wear glasses and others you will be able to wear the goggles with the glasses.

If you swim, it is best to do what you usually do in that case. But usually, you can wear glasses when snorkeling.

My b/f dad did. He got a snorkel mask with his eye glass prescription in the mask. He said that it was great cause he could also se when he came out of the water to see what was on the surface. He took it to the place he gets his glasses and they did all the work for him. It cost him only $ 80.00 for the prescription in the mask. Then the ship help him with the tube to breath out of.

Yo no problem!! Any good dive shop sells "inserts" that you put/glue on the inside of you mask. The dive shop can do this for you or you can real easy. Make sure you know the prescription of your glasses so you don't buy the wrong one!! Happy snorkeling!!! :o)

you can wear contacts, but I have touble with that, water getting in my eyes and my eyes burning, losing the contacts etc. I have a pair of prescription lenses for my mask and it is the best thing ever! but if you go without anytthing, you will be able to see some as underwater you will see 25 % closer and 25% larger. hope this helps

Good question.

I went without my glasses and got lost from my group and felt panic-ky in the Caribbean. My husband tried snorkeling with his glasses on and did not work well. I was so happy when I finally found him again and my group.

Take off the glasses. The goggles in the water will magnify the objects slightly. You will be able to see without a problem.
