i don't think there will be one for the year of 2008 because of the new immigration legislation currently going though congress. You may be able to get a guest worker visa and then work on the green card issue once in the USA.

in case you stayed illegally contained in the US over a year you would be banned from coming back for 10 years.... six months to a million year and you'd be banned as much as 5 years. "do no longer do the crime in case you may no longer do the time."
