Now that I have you, is there some way to remove shellac from my head without feeling like I am tugging on my brain.

Just give yourself a Mohawk.
This is the answer to everything love.
Depression, high utility bills, no milk in the fridge, nothing on at the cinema, shellac in one's hair, erectile dysfunction, migraines, PMS (a.k.a. mad cow disease), all have a simple answer....get a Mohawk.

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!!1 I learned the shellac tric from lifeofthepartyyea and look how gorgeous my hair stays all week!!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure but I thought my dad always used mineral turpentine and it was not diluted and be very careful try to get someone to help you and do it for you and please please please do not light up a cigarette while doing it or the person helping you or you won't have to worry about getting it out of your hair as you won't have any left hehehhee lol & maybe once it is out you might consider using a hair treatment on your hair to try and restore some of the oils that will get stripped out or atleast a good conditioner .... good luck... have a nice day

Use methylated spirit (denatured methyl alcohol) diluted into water to make it safer - i'd say about 50/50 mix. You will need to protect your eyes though. Keep away from heat sources because its highly flammable. Also, put conditioner on your hair and skin afterwards.
