I don't personally believe that we have a free will, it certainly is not taught in the Bible. What is taught is that man has a depraved will, and only as God draws him does he have the ability to come to God.

It doesn't necessarily mean that.
As a christian I believe God has a plan for us all. His plans sometimes differ with what we perceive as our ultimate plan. God's plan is the best plan for our lives (given our personal limitations). Some of us have a plan, and know what it is, while some of us don't. Either way those things that we choose to do by following his plan will lead us to exactly what we want.
For example, a lot of people want to be millionaires. Fact is, not everyone is cut out to be one. There are tons of lottery winner stories of someone that won $1-$2-$4 million etc. and are flat broke today because they did not know how to manage their funds properly. Sure, they blessed others but they pissed the rest of it away by doing foolish things. In their plan, going to Vegas and blowing $100,000 and buying everyone to their 3rd cousin twice removed a car was a GREAT idea, but maybe God's plan was to invest in some small start up that would later be known as Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, etc. We don't know, but God does. And if we just followed His plan instead of doing what felt right we could have done all that aforementioned stuff without losing every last penny.

I don't think you give up your free-will, because you can always choose to stop doing gods will. The choices are still there and, as the song says, making no choice at all is still making a choice.

To do God's will IS my free will of choice!! I think sometimes people just don't like their choices, but we all, always, have one. In every situation, in every way, we have choices. Not necessarily GOOD ones sometimes, or SEVERAL most of the time, but we DO have them. And mine, when it comes to religion, is that I CHOOSE of my own FREE WILL, to do God's will as best I can. Simple as that!

What is God's will.
The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise to return, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to perish, so he is giving more time for everyone to repent. 2Peter 3:9
Its that no one should perish.

Isn't it God's will that I use my free will. Why else would I have the ability to choose?

Technically yeah. If you do "God's" will you are always doing what "God" wants, not necessarily what you want, unless your wants line up with "God's". If you do your will when what you wills goes against "God's" will, you are sinning.
Ummm. I don't think he allows free willed action to go unpunished.

We do not have free will unless you consider the ability to rebel as free will. When one considers what happened to satan after exercising his 'free will', one has to consider if that is the best way to go.
This I believe;

Well you can choose whether or not you're actually going to do his will or not, right? That's your own free will. So no, I don't think it means that at all.
