I've never eaten in Providence proper, but definitely check out Providence Place. The Napa Valley Grille is really good. But if you're going low key, they have a Cheescake Factory, Johnny Rocket's & Uno's. Plus Dave & Busters is like a Chucky Cheese for adults.

I like Kabob and Curry on Thayer street for Indian Food.
I also like Ran Zan on Hope for Japanese Food.
Any Where on Federal Hill for Itialan Food, that is what Providence is known for. Post Office Cafe, Capricio's, Porta Bella, Providence has the best food out side of Italy.
