My mother had a cat adopt her to. She named the cat Sooner. Her reasoning was this. "She 'd sooner be here than anywhere else". The cat just started coming in the apartment like it was her own so, my mother decided to keep her.

I once had a kitten named Curiosity. And I knew no one else whose cat had the same name. Since she found you our of curiosity. it might fit.

i like the name scout after the book to kill a mockingbird. i named my cats after their personalities. or like one of my cats names the song that played on the radio when we found him.
