Isn't is funny when you look back to high school?
You got up in the morning, spent time getting your hair "just right" and putting on makeup... then you had to pick out what pair of name brand jeans you were going to wear for the day.... then the shirt (AND IT HAD TO MATCH PERFECTLY!) Then you put on your (in my case) $150 pair of shoes and mosey on off to school...
Now 23 yaers old and 2 kids later, I don't get a darn what brand of jeans I'm wearing (but they DO have to be clean) or what brand of shoes (mine are from walmart) and my hair goes straight into a ponytail so I don't have to worry about it... Makeup's only for special occasions and my idea of "fun" is working in the yard!
Isn't it funny how just 6 or 7 short years can completely change who you thought you were??? .... What's funnier still is... I wouldn't go back! I love my life! =)

i agree i have 4 kids and the only thing i care about is pulling my hair up and wearing clean clothes but my kids are always clean with real nice clothes and there hair always looks so much better than mine lol

Well u just reminded me of my college days when i used to wake up at 8 in morning and then pressing the bikes accelerator, still getting late for the 1st lecture. God that was fun getting scolded for coming regularly irregularly whoa that was fun.
now today i am here get up regularly at 8 to go to work at ten comb my hair wear full sleeves shirt and a tie. it sucks
life goes on turning every now and then.

I hear ya!! Now, we get to see just how hard our parents worked to make sure we had all that name brand stuff!!
I have three kids.....if someone sees me with my hair down it seems as if they think they are meeting me for the first time.
Isn't being a mom great?

lol, I'm rioght there with you. My morning routine consists of a shower and clean clothes, ponyail and if I'm going out I put makeup on in the car while the kids are buckled into their carseats. Its a great life.

LOL...I am in the same boat. My shoes are from Payless now and last time I bought my self some clothes it was from the clearance rack at Old Navy. Kids change you...but I love it!!!

I understand this perfectly, I will actualy dress in a way that makes me look bigger and meaner than usual just so I don't have to mess with people I don't want to.
