If you decided to save the $30, would you at least take the plastic off so that it did not flap erratically in speeds over 20 mph? How come you did not buy a truck instead of a Camry?

LMAO, I can't believe people who are so poverty-stricken that they can't pay the delivery fee. This question makes me laugh because there was a mattress flapping in the road this morning and cars had to slam to a screeching halt to avoid tumbling with it...actually, it's not funny, it's a serious road hazard. To have your mattress end up in the road killing people because you are too cheap is money well saved...not.

P.S., I have a question that you might be able to help me out with!

If I could afford to buy a mattress, surely I could afford another 30 bucks for delivery. Besides that I think if the mattress came off and caused an accident, I would be in some trouble that would cost way more than $30 in the long run.

The risk of an accident with self-delivery is too high. Just pay the $30. Also, if they will actually set the bed up and remove the old bed, even better. I permanently injured my back trying to move a mattress by myself once.

If you don't have the $30 for delivery of the mattress, you shouldn't be buying a mattress. Sleep on the floor and save even more!!!

wait! i think i know this one... i would.... dammit.... i would buy the mattress and tie onto the roof of my Camry, but also use my hand to hold it down... then a week later i would go back and purchase another one, scribble my name on the credit card receipt because of the hard cast that inhibited my writing, pay the extra $30 (after still trying to talk them down to $20), and drive home swearing the whole time that my next car would be a truck, and when my wife started to say something i would give her that 'you want some of this cast across your face' look to shut her up

I would definitely spend the 30 bucks. A car with a mattress strapped to the roof is sooooo Billy-Bob trailer park.

I would strap it securely to the roof still wrapped in the plastic.
close the windows and turn up the stereo.

unless you are going on the interstate or further than a day's drive. then, I would just pay for the delivery
