I have two pups. One got stolen a week ago. My landlord said we can only have one dog and I live in a trailor that is pretty old. My landlord doesn't allow more than two cars infront nor any company. I had two men approach my door the other day than my dog got stolen two days later. He didn''t notice that but when my friend came over and my boyfriend, he came to my door at 11pm to say that one of these cars have to go. He has cameras facing the entire front were I live. Prior to my dog getting stolen he mentioned the one dog rule again, hmm... Well just now he saw my dog come out from my back door and he came flying out to say that i have to get rid of them TODAY!! What the hell!!!!!!!!!

the owner of the property has the right with mobilhome courts to set a limit how many pets can be owned. if you have the one dog there is no reason why you can't keep it. as for this busniess of how many cars infront nor allowing company over does he inforce this rule with anyone else if not then he is harrassing you but in some cases miss the landlord of said property can set a curfew for visitation

Your landlord is obviously crazy. I'd look into finding a new place to live. Even if he evicts you for not getting rid of the dog, you have 30 days to vacate. The dog doesn't have rights (other than being treated humanely) but you do.

Thats a discrimination to abandond a poor animal, just for the sake of your sick stubborn landlord. I think you should report to the police about the stolen dog, immediately. If you have your dogs snap, post them on public locations. This will indirectly warn that unknown person, who actually stole your dog & next time he may be reluctant to steal. And this will also alert your landlord, as he will understand your concern, love for your animal & will sure understand his limits.

Your Dog is property at least in my state. I think your problem is that your landlord is a whack job. I would strongly suggest working out a plan to move even if it takes a few months. I had a similar problem with a land lord and had to have the police remove him from my apartment. I moved.

Dog's have limited rights. Like its not leagal to shot your neighbors dog or steal them. YOU, the tenant, is the one with rights. You have rights to certain living conditions. What agreement do you and your landlord have in writing... that's what YOU agreed to. The landloard does not have a right to randomly change the rules... but does have certain rights to property he owns.

Check with the town hall as to your rights and check any written agreements/lease that you have with the landlord. Regardless your landlord sounds like a jerk and you should find other housing.

It depends which country you live at. In Greece anyone is allowed 2 pets in his appartment. It doesn't matter what the landlord says or what the building regulation is, the law is above them. So, just find out what the law is in your country.

Get rid of the dogs or MOVE!!!! Your landlord sounds like an f-ing looney toon. You could also charge him, (if you can prove he stole your dog) I would advise you move. But if you like living in a jail (sounds like that's what he is trying to do), then just get rid of the dog to make the idiot happy. you should just MOVE

Your dog is owned by your there for a possession and has no rights.
Read your lease aggrement and see what it says about pets.
That would bet he final thing. If you signed it you have to live by it.

If you're a renter, you have to obey the property owner. Your dog doesn't have any rights.

Check your lease.
