the intention is not to hert anybody's sentiments but as they are inducing people to become christine by way of giving money or any other immotional appeal, i think firstly they should prove them as genuine as most of the things which has been written in the bible or said by their god are becomeing fake [eg armageddon, funda of 06-06-06 etc] otherwise they should stop fooling people as well as themselves by following someones call,

i want genuine answers, instead of personal comments, as this is going to prove their genuineness what they keep on telling the people for the years...

They believe. Thats how they support it, belief can make you see proof where there isn't any (not saying there isn't any.) The strongest (and most dangerous) thing anyone can do is believe.

And now, the personal comment you didn't want. *Big Grin*
I support christians in their beliefs as well as satanists and everything inbetween. Because I believe belief helps people survive.

Many Bible prophecies have been fulfilled, that speaks for itself i think but some examples...

The fall of Babylon, which is recorded in the Bible book of Isaiah. Some 200 years before this event took place, the prophet Isaiah predicted in a detailed and accurate way the overthrow of Babylon by Medo-Persia. The prophecy disclosed that the conqueror would bear the name Cyrus, and it revealed the very strategy of drying up a moatlike river defense and entering a fortified city through open gates. All of this was accurately fulfilled. (Isaiah 44:27-45:2) It was also correctly prophesied that Babylon would eventually be totally uninhabited.—Isaiah 13:17-22.

In Ezekiel ch 26, he fortold the ruin of Tyre and it was fulfilled beginning in ch 29, and lasting in a siege for 13 years.

Daniel describes symbolic animals which represent certain world powers (Daniel 8:20-22) Babylon was overthrown by Persia and two hundred years later gave way to the Greek Empire led by Alexander the Great. After his death the kingdom was split between his generals into four smaller kingdoms, none of which were ever as strong as Greece had been.

I could go on but the point is christians do not need to support what the Bible says, the book does that just fine all on it's own!

FIrst, you must prove how 666 is Fake, then you should also provide proof that armegedon is fake. Just because at date might have been june 6th 2006, does not mean it refers to the same number 666. THat's where some people are trying to read too much into it. Like with dinasours and evolution. THey dig, find bird bones...dig a little deepr and find dinasour bones. Then think hey, birds must have come from dinasours. What?!? Huh?!?. Good observation, but bad conclusion. Oh, and no "transoformations" of the in between found. Ok, let's lok at it this way. World flood. dinasours are ground animals....gosh, they'd get burried first. Birds can fly, imagine that. So they'd get burried last, since they would be the last get die in the flood, not to mention their bones are lighter and would settle less quickly. So then thier bones get burried. Hey, now which way makes more logical sense. Don't ask an evolutionist, they can't think that way. But yet, the scoff a flood that can burry hundreds of animals under tons of soil, but they never stop to question a small flood, like the Missisippi River, that burried houses. Hmmm.....go figure.

My Preacher says that if you read your bible it will tell you that the understanding will come in time and God only decides when it is time for you to understand it. He also says that the bible says there will be many who come in my name (god) and will be a false prophet or teacher. When the man behind the pulpit predicts something (for ex. in the year 2000 alot of people were scared into thinking that the world was gonna end because their preacher said it) and it does not come true then they are being a false prophet yet if they say something that does become true then they are a true man of God. (2nd example) 6/6/06 how many persons behind the pulpit claimed that this day was the day of armageddon? have you seen any changes in the world as of yet? have all those whose names are written in the book of life have they been taken to their final home? How can one stand there and say I am a man of God and then turn around and make you feel unwelcomed in a church because you dont have on a suit and a tie. You go to church to worship God Not the clothing that people Wear. My preacher says if you come and are dressed in ragedy jeans because its all you have then by all means come in and enjoy the sermon if you are dressed in your best by all means come and enjoy the sermon. All people should be welcomed and if they arent then the people and the church itself is not truely of God. In Daniel towards the last few chapters I believe you will find it says that things will come to pass and you will understand it then and only when God wants it revealed to you. Hope this helps your question.

There are thousands of different kinds of christians. Many of them think armageddon and things like 6/6/06 are metaphors, not literal. Alot of them dismiss any sort of superstition as nonsense. Many of them respect and value science, many of them refuse to judge other people, many of them do everything they can to live in a compassionate, generous way. And many of them do the very opposite of those things, not to be contrary, but because they believe they are acting in the way god wants them to.
The only thing Christians have in common is a belief that jesus lived and that the things he said were very important, and they think of themselves as christian. That is literally it. Nothing more.
Interpretation of the bible, however, is open for anyone to do. Some churches make their pastors/ministers/priests go to school, learn greek and latin, read the earliest written records, and study history. Some of them just kind of elect/appoint preachers. So, alot of what people believe makes them a christian comes directly from someone else's interpretation, and you have to decide whether you trust that person to know about moral issues. If you're genuinely interested in christianity look carefully at the church leadership, go to their services, and think about what they're saying and whether you think it's sound moral guidance.

okies, it's not in the Bible about 06-06-06, so you didn't get that from God lol. Armageddon hasn't come yet, so you can't say it's fake, but God does exist.

How do I support the things which are written in the Bible and said by God? With my life. I'd never expect you, who do not know me, to take my advice, but my friends and family can look at the fruits of my labor to the Lord and see that I speak from faith through experience.

Some professed Christians fleece their congregations for money (i.e., televangelists and some big churches). Many do not.

Our pastor announces before the offering that if you do not go to our church, you should not feel obligated to give and in fact should just pass the plate along.

For us and for many churches, it's simply not about money. People give out of their hearts and by choice.

There's a document called the Didache (dated to about 100 AD), that describes the general practices of the Christian church at that time.

In Didache 11, the Christian writer specifically warns against traveling apostles who hang out for more than a day or two and refuse to work like everyone else -- basically "mooching" off the congregation. They are actually considered false prophets.

Fleecing people is not part of what it means to be a Christian, despite the fact that many people can make money doing so.

christian life begins with faith and they live by faith, therefore it is difficult for non-christian to understand the deep meaning unless they are touch by the words inspired in the BIBLE. The conversion into christianity seems to be a fake when we dont have the faith that christian possess. They(christian) believe in bible and follows the instruction inspired but frankly not everyone do the same since there is number of restriction in the bible and many couldnt overcome from that temptation. Christian life is all 'bout FAITH,

I gather English is not your first language. Your question is a little confusing, but I'll try to address what I think you are asking.

Personally I don't try to convert anyone as I don't see it as my job. I believe God touches hearts and Jesus saves souls, so I stay out of it.

Before one can worry about substantiating scripture, one must understand scripture. Many of the tings that you hear are not direct scriptural doctrines, so you have to challenge people individually on why they say whatever it is that they claim is scriptural.

Personally, I need only substantiate my beliefs if and when challenged, which I can and will do.

This I believe;

The Bible is clear that no one can predict the day that Jesus will return and the world will end. Dispite that, there are many people who claim to be Christians who think they can predict when the world will end. They are always wrong. And you're right - they do discredit Christianity. Please don't confuse these people with genuine Christians.

The key is to read the Bible for yourself and discuss it with people who seek to understand it and understand God.
